Maria completed the Veterinary Technician course at Seneca College and is currently preparing to write her VTNE as she works toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
Her passion for veterinary medicine began in Grade 10 Biology, when learning about anatomy and physiology—and especially her first frog dissection—sparked her interest in animal health and medicine. Since then, she has continued to develop her knowledge and skills with a strong passion for providing compassionate care to her patients.
Maria especially enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality and helping make their veterinary experience as comfortable and positive as possible. She also values building relationships with their families and being part of a team that helps pets live happy, healthy lives.
Outside of the clinic, Maria is a proud dog mom to Kobe, a Jack Russell who keeps life full of energy and chaos! When she’s not caring for animals, you can usually find her crocheting, knitting, playing video games, or trying out a new creative hobby. She considers herself very crafty, and her hobbies tend to change depending on her latest hyperfixation!
Maria is excited to continue growing as a veterinary professional and looks forward to caring for the pets and families who walk through the clinic doors.
