Hi, I’m Mario, the Practice Manager at Front Street Animal Hospital. I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in Colombia. After more than 18 years working as a veterinary technician, I completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. My combined background in veterinary medicine, leadership, and operations allows me to support both exceptional patient care and the day-to-day success of the hospital.
I’ve always had a deep love for animals and a passion for helping others. Veterinary medicine gave me the opportunity to combine science, compassion, and problem-solving while making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.
What I enjoy most is building lasting relationships with clients and being part of a team that helps pets live healthier, happier lives. Seeing the trust that families place in us and knowing we’ve made a positive impact is incredibly rewarding.
I have a Standard Poodle named Jackson. He’s full of personality, incredibly smart, and loves spending time outdoors. He’s a big part of my life and reminds me every day why I chose this profession.
Outside of work I enjoy camping, exploring nature, spending quality time with Jackson, and discovering new places. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy cooking and baking when time allows.
