How safe is surgery for my pet?

We promise to deliver the best care possible to all our patients. We follow best-in-practice standards and use advanced equipment to ensure your beloved companion has a safe surgery. After a procedure is recommended, our vets conduct pre-anesthetic tests to check your pet's health status and determine how much anesthesia to provide during the surgery. During the procedure, veterinary technicians monitor your pet's vitals to ensure that their heart rate, oxygen, and blood pressure levels remain stable. Post-surgery, the veterinarians keep your pet under observation until they are ready to be discharged.

How should I prepare my pet for surgery?

Preparing your pet for surgery means keeping all information handy. You can always discuss your concerns and questions with our veterinarians before surgery to ensure your pet has a calm and smooth process. Remember to follow your vet's pre-surgery suggestions, such as fasting, medication changes or stoppage, etc. If your pet tends to get uncomfortable at the vet, bring in their favourite toy or anything that makes them feel comfortable.

What happens after the surgery?

After the surgery, your pet enters the recovery stage. The vets monitor the patient after surgery and ensure the anesthesia has completely worn off. They look for any infections or side effects. They prescribe pain medications, and when they are confident that your pet is well on its way to recovery, you can take your pet home to rest and recuperate.
