Originally from Mexico, I grew up in a small town with a dad who taught me to respect and love animals. Since I was little, I was surrounded by cows, sheep, goats, horses, birds of different kinds, cats and dogs. Growing up, I would help my father care for our family pets and live stock.

In 2013, I took a more ambitious step towards my passion for animals completing my B.Sc in veterinary medicine and zootechnics and graduating with honors from University of Guadalajara. Right after finishing my studies, I decided to come to Canada to improve my English skills and study languages for six months. Once in Toronto, I studied English for a year and attended Seneca College for two years obtaining my diploma as Chemical Laboratory Technician.

I joined Front Street Animal Hospital in 2021 where I am able to continue practicing my passion for customer service and animal wellness. What I love the most about my job is hanging out with pets and helping them feel better. I also love the people I work with and am glad to call them my friends.

While working in Canada, I have had the chance of working and volunteering in many roles: life guard, background actor and medal presenter at the Panam games. However, my favourite job prior to Front Street was working as a cook at restaurants like Jack Astor's and Cactus Club Cafe. I really enjoy cooking, especially for friends and family.

I am also a dog dad. My partner and I have a beautiful golden retriever name Kygo, named after the music that both of them have good memories of.
